Ep 13 - Hey, Can We Talk About Loss and Grief (A Cathartic Commiseration)
Hey! Looking for your free Episode Booster that goes with this episode?
Snag it right here!
Okay but why can’t we just talk about it?
Wait talk about what?
Loss and grief.
Maybe you’re feeling tired of talking about everything that’s changed.
Like it’s all you’ve talked about this whole year.
Like it’s an endless stream of complaining and negativity.
Or like if you talk about it too much, you’re not being grateful enough.
But are you really talking about it all?
And actually acknowledging it for what it is?
The whole world is grieving a lot of things right now.
And so are you. You’ve lost a lot.
Maybe you haven’t lost the same as others...
But no matter what you’ve lost – a loved one, a routine, a business, a relationship, a dream, a job, a sense of security, a senior year, or anything else – your grief is valid.
Comin’ at you again in case that didn’t sink in: YOUR GRIEF IS VALID.
So here’s a question: if we can’t talk about this now, when we’re all experiencing it, when can we talk about it?
Seriously.
Don’t discount your own grief and loss just because “everyone is going through this” or because "others have it worse."
Maybe you’re not ready to talk about it. Or you just don’t have the emotional cycles to acknowledge and process all that you’ve lost.
That’s okay.
But you deserve to heal.
And when you’re ready to share, we’re listening.
Because your processing? Your vulnerability? Your sharing? That’s sure as heck not wallowing.
Nope. Those are beacons of growth and strength.
So when you’re ready, let’s chat. No judgement, no competition.
P.S. This week’s episode booster is some questions to get you started. You’ve got this ❤️
